About Us
The Real Estate & Land Use Institute (RELUI) is the 23-campus California State University System's applied research and professional education center for real estate and urban land use. The California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) branch of RELUI was established in 1996 in the College of Business and Economics (CBE). The goals of the Real Estate & Land Institute (RELUI) are to promote real estate education and to move the frontier of knowledge in real estate related fields. Currently, ten faculty members in the Department of Finance are involved in either the teaching or research on real estate related subjects. Our faculty members have published numerous articles in prestigious academic and professional real estate and finance journals. They also write books and teaching cases on real estate subjects. The Real Estate & Land Use Institute (RELUI) offers a real estate program designed for students who are principally interested in careers in the real estate industry. The program covers general and specialized real estate knowledge that is applicable to professional areas such as real estate finance and investment, brokerage, market analysis, and appraisal as well as being pertinent to the acquisition, development, management, and disposition of real property. With a comprehensive course-offering schedule, our program is probably one of the largest programs in California.
