Dr. Yuming Li
...Purdue University, University of Michigan and University of California, Riverside. He became a Full Professor at the California State University, Fullerton in 2000.
Yuming received his M.Sc. degree in Management Science from University of British Columbia and his Ph.D. degree from University of Chicago. He has contributed extensively in the fields of economics, finance, management science and real estate. His publications in these areas have appeared in American Economic Review, Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Research, Journal of Empirical Finance, Management Science, Real Estate Economics, Journal of Urban Economics and other high-quality business journals.
Dr. Li has been frequently invited for presentations of his research articles in numerous national and international conferences and university research seminars. For example, his article “Expected Returns and Habit Persistence,” published in the 2001 issue of Review of Financial Studies, was invited for presentations at the 2000 European Finance Association Meetings in London, England, 2000 Financial Management Association Meetings in Seattle, U.S.A., Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His article “Residential Investment and Interest Rates: A Test of the Real Options Model of Development” with Dennis Capozza, published in the 2001 issue of Real Estate Economics, was presented in the 2001 Asian Real Estate Society meetings in Tokyo, Japan, ASSA meetings, and seminars in Boston College, Harvard University, M.I.T., U.C. Berkeley, University of Connecticut, and University of Michigan.
