Spring 2012 Insurance Scholarships
Welcome CIS Friends
The Center for Insurance Studies has received strong support from both industry and CIS friends, which has enabled us to financially reward deserving students with a number of different scholarships.
The goal of the Center for Insurance Studies is to educate talented individuals seeking a career in insurance & financial services and to act as a bridge between university and industry. The programs and events offered are designed to help students reach their educational and professional goals.
Scholarship Criteria
- - Must be a full-time business major (12+ units) with 3.0 or better GPA
- - Must submit an application online and bring an unofficial transcript to the CIS office (SGMH-4280).
(You may apply to more than one award, but only one application is needed.) - - Must prove completion of or enrollment in at least one insurance or financial services course listed below:
Fin 335, Fin 360, Fin 410, Fin 411, Fin 461, Fin 462, Fin 463, Fin 464, Fin 560, Fin 562, Math 390, & Actuary Workshop
Students must apply and submit application and/or current enrollment slip online here .
- - Financial need will be taken into consideration
- - One set of unofficial transcript (delivered to CIS office) will be sufficient for multiple submissions
- - You may put more than one CIS award name in the application or select "any CIS scholarship"
- - Please note the additional criteria required for the Robitaille Family Scholarship
